This John Karr guy is lying! His ex wife is now saying he was with her the night she was killed, and I thought he was lying before that came out. Now for the part that he knows stuff only the killer knows, I don't have an answer. My question is for those who think her mom and dad did it, If the DNA from under her nails and underwear didn't match anyone in the family, why do you think they did it? I know the handwritting expert says the mom wrote it, what's your take

This guy is a #1 freak. And my take is that he's in trouble in Taiwan (kiddie porn perv), doesn't want to spend any time in Taiwan jails, so he cops to the murder (which he's been fascinated with since it occurred, cuz he's a perv), has lots of info about it from his research, and then he gets shipped back to the US.
The DNA will prove or disprove my theory.
And, as far as his ex wife "knowing where he was 10 years ago", well it WAS Christmas NIGHT, and they WERE married 10 yrs ago...according to her, they were living in Alabama at the time. Now think about it--if he killed JB, how could he slip in and out of his house ON A HOLIDAY and get back--that's 1/2 of the USA away!.

I agree with you that Karr is lying. My gut reaction to his "confession" was hes lying. From what Im hearing this girl died a brutal death....and hes saying it was an accident, and that he still loves her. OK...hes one sick SOB....but I have this feeling that there is ALOT more to this story then just a so called confession from him. I also feel the parents still had something to do with this, maybe not the murder its self but they were involved somehow. I never could figure out how a child could be so brutally murdered in her own home & the parents not to have heard a thing??? Im a parent & if my kids make any noise during the night I wake up istantly. I still say it was the brother, and had mom & dad cover it up. This guy just wants back in USA!!

I suspected them and feel bad for it. But that letter was weird, and matched the amount that the Ramseys were in debt. This John Karr is creepy. He will still go to jail for child pornography charges.

Why do you think he's lying? Why would he want to go to prison for the rest of his life for something he didn't do? I think he was a sick bastard that had a sexual obsession with JonBenet and I hope he gets killed in prison. : )
EDIT - I read the article and it still doesn't point to him lying. Her murder was TEN years ago. How would his wife honestly be able to know that she was with him. How could she even remember.
And, again, why would he risk spending the rest of his life in prison over a lie? Convicts kills inmates who've abused/killed children, as you know.
I'm just not understanding why he would commit suicide for nothing.

the mom hired the guy, that got arrested, to kill her and the dad found out and helped cover it up. i know a few of the detectives on the case and thats what the think but there is no proof. and now the mom is dead so its not like she can go to jail

I think this another cover up having to do with the rich family hiring someone to do the dirty work for them and having the poor man doing time instead of the rich man.

that john got himself in trouble in another counrty thats jail isnt as great as ours so its possible hes using this as a excuse to be expedited back to the usa. i really hope its him b/c/ the poor family really needs some closier. she was such a beutiful little girl and my heart goes out to the family. honestly i always thought the brother did it out of jealousy. either way its sad and i hope they get the bastard soon.

I just asked a similar question. I am confused about how this guy is confessing, but the ransom note was in Patsy's writing..Maybe they were lovers?? and co-conspiring...?

If the parent's didn't do it they know who did. They are not acting normal for parents who lost a child in the most awful way they did.
