Just suspicious that could be why he is so freely confessing now.

I think he is fine, he is just smart and avoiding jail in Bangcock. I don't think he did it.
Will have to wait and see.

Like most everyone, I was shocked at the news of the arrest of John Mark Karr in relation to JonBenet Ramsey's murder some ten years after her death. In reference to her parents' guilt or innocence, I tend to give people the benefit of doubt, believe the best in people unless proved otherwise with observable/ measurable factual evidence. That said, I have always believed the parents were not involved... my gut impression is that they are (were) basically good, God-fearing people... why would they hurt their own (or anyone else's) child? There has never been any evidence suggesting a history of abuse or violence, JonBenet was the apple of her mother's eye, she loved and cared more about her than her own life. Who am I to judge them based on hearsay and innuendo when I was not present at the murder, don't know them or all the facts, and when there were so many mistakes admittedly made in the investigation, etc.? This is not to say I have not had doubts, once when I was stuck at the airport for several hours, I read a book about the case and found very curious certain details, e.g., the ransom note, drafts of it in the garbage can, similarity to Patsy Ramsey's handwriting, unknown male DNA on JonBenet's mattress, her history of bedwetting, the family's sometimes strange behaviour after her murder (hiring of a PR agent), etc. I came to the point where I thought no one would ever really know what happened. Then this news comes with the arrest of Karr and it is so confusing. He admits to murdering JonBenet and supposedly knows details of the case not previously released to the media but.... his then wife says he was in Alabama when JonBenet was killed.... he says he "picked JonBenet up at school and took her to the basement" -- why would he have picked her up from school, especially on Christmas. News reports and a statement released by John Ramsey say he and Patsy were aware that the police were investigating Karr months before his arrest, apparently he had sent a series of emails to Patsy admitting the murder... if this is true why wasn't Karr apprehended earlier, its hard to believe these parents, with so much money, power, and sympathy at their disposal, would stand by idly if they believed they knew who killed their little girl. There are so many details we the general public don't know, its really too early to make an informed decision at this time. I will say however, the fact that Karr was in Alabama on that Christmas and that he reportedly read everything in sight and did considerable research on JonBenet's death/had contacts through the police department as a journalist in university where he became privy to certain information casts serious doubts on whether this guy really did murder JonBenet or he is just trying to avoid punishment for another crime in Thailand. Apparently he is under investigation for a series of peodiphila/child pornagraphy rings across several countries. I can't help but think perhaps killing JonBenet was a fantasy of Karr, rather than an actuality. You are right, he does look rather sick, maybe he is just looking to become famous before he dies. I suppose only time will tell.

Supposedly he was in jail in Thailand.. He could have just confessed to get out of there and back to the US. Not sure if this is true though because there is so much going on with the whole thing....well have to wait and see!

I haven't heard anything about Karr having AIDS. But I would speculate from the pictures, that he looks sick.

he seems a little insane....i think hours of grilling and loong snail sped time of cell confinement has turned him nuts.He seemed soo disillusioned when he confessed to the killing ,almost like a beaten ashen bat! i dont get it, he killed her yet he proclaims that he loved her?? Its the way with most murder criminals buddy, they keep dropping bombshells in prison before they step on the gallows! Ever heard of the patty murder case??

countless speculations about all kinds of things have been made, with no substantiation so far. haven't seen/heard an actual story on it. but yeah, he does have the aids look.

Probably not. It's usually the poor smuck whose partner wasn't honest with him/her who ends up catching stuff like that.
John will get his in prison though. Inmates really hate people who molest children....

is he infected with aids? I didnt hear anything like that. Well, we will have to wait and see if evidence links him to it.

His ex-wife is giving him an alibi. She says he was with her in Arkansas when the killing occurred.

I have yes. He does look pretty gaunt. He looks creepy in general.
