Ok I have a Daughter who has just got her A levels and B Tech, She wanted to go to Middlesex Uni but did not think she would get in. Having then applied for UCLAN and was successful, she got the grades she needed for Middlesex, but is now staying with UNCLAN as they made her feel welcome. As for your son not getting the UNI he wants to, ask him to contact Clearing at the UNI he wants to go to they may well relent and let him in or at least his second choice, he can only but try. In a years to come your children will do exactly want you are doing now when they have children in the same position. All you need to do is let them sort it out themselves they are old enough.

Oh lady ... take a few deep breaths, have a nice cup of tea and relax!

Your son will find somewhere suitable, your daughter will do what she wants to do and you and your husband will be there to pay for it all ... life will still go on!

ps: my son's GCSE results are out next Thursday but we won't be panicking.

Been there... got the t-shirt!!!
Thank God one has finished University and the other just has a year to go.... But somebody told me they come home, because they can't afford to live anywhere else!!!! Arghhhh!

You just swop one stress for another when they start looking for work..... Apparently they need experience before they can get a job using their degree ......Duh......they've been at university!

Good luck

Hey Mom calm it. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter wot they get. In a few years time, when they are working and have families of their own you will wonder why you worried so much. I know, trust me
