Seems like coverage of Iraq is positive except for some obvious theft and deception by some who failed to provide what they promised .
IS this liberal reporting by the media ?.IF you pay for something and do not get it then just forget it is the conservative way .(THEY WOULD SUE ME IF I DELIVERED A 13 INCH SCREEN T.V. INSTEAD OF THE 52 INCH ONE THEY ORDERED .).
The media was over-whelmingly in favor of Israel .
They are behind corporate america .
They slamed a few people publicly for fraud in the katrina relief effort .
I do not see a media that is liberal by any means .
I do not see alot of stories about wealthy men who regularly bank rupt a company and pay them selfs millions never to repay anyone but retire in luxsury
.
THEY have quit going after ministers who collect tens of millions and live like kings across america for over 15 years now .
IS it the media is liberal if it points out fraud and theft and those who do this . I guess if I were a thief I would discredit the media.

A little messy in the composition, but basically right.

This is how the Neo-Right works.
-Compalin that anything that reports damaging facts about the
Bush Administration as "left wing" or "leftist media".
-Call anything with a far-right slant as "fair and balanced"

Yes sir,its all about money.

In basketball, it's called "playing the ref". When you get called for a blatant foul, you complain to the ref and act like a martyr; next time there's a less blatant foul, he says to himself, "I guess I should give him a break to make up for that last call." Richard Mellon Scaife has spent a fortune funding "media outlets" that do nothing but.

It all depends on where you get your media information from. It can be conservative or liberal, a lot of it is up to you and knowing what kind of media you are watching.

Most American newspapers and TV stations have a liberal agenda and constantly support liberal propaganda, and this includes Washington Week and the McNeil-Lehrer Report. This is so widespread and well known that we see many radical left-wingers (granted most of them on this chat site are children) complaining about Fox News Channel 2, the only conservative TV news channel they can find.

this has been a Conservative talking point for years.

If they continually say "the media is liberal!", people start to believe it. If the media says anything bad about them, or that they dont like, they can say "see, the liberal media is doing it again!" If the media says anything that they do like, they can say "see, its about time they put balance in their reporting!"

In reality, the media is corporate owned and therefore very pro-business and conservative.

It's funny how we constantly hear (on the media) how the media is so liberal. If the media were truly liberal, we'd never hear them say that fact.

Curious.

not everyone feels that way, fox news certainly isn't liberal and I don't think any of the big 3 nightly news shows are either, lizzy vargas might of been liberal but charlie sure isn't. maybe katie will be an anchor with an open mind.

...because they "craft" news stories instead of just reporting facts...facts might be too boring to sell advertizing...stir the pot a little, create a little controvercy where there isn't any, slant stories by omitting petinent information or the other side's view, inject your own views or biases...voila!...a "liberal" media cocktail for the masses to get drunk on!
