I couldn't think of a way to explain this question more without skewing what I am looking for. This is a problem at both home and work now. I have sound judgment, but why can't my word or feelings ever be enough.

Lots of times you may be right, but people just don't want to listen. Then later, when it turns out you were right, they'll remember. Just don't shove your advice down peoples' throats. Mostly it's a deal with only giving advice when asked. Myself, I highly resent someone butting in when I never asked.

IMHO :D

everyone has opinions, and some refuse to listen to anyone else who has different ones than theirs. as long as you're not shoving opinions down their throat, just say what you feel and speak your mind.

you wait for a quiet time when you get someones full attention...and then, you take your time to get your feelings known.
