I want to be a CHP officer but want to know if I would be accecpted. I quit smoking pot 4 months ago. I only did it every once in a while but want to know if that would effect my chances. I mean it is out of my body so i can pass a drug test but i heard they give you a lie detector test to. Anyone know what thats about?

It's only been four months..... if you lie, you're screwed. If you tell the truth, they won't let you in because it's considered a current use... which it is. How about you don't smoke for a year, then try out.
