There is no such thing as normal, one persons normal is another persons abnormal. People should stop worrying about what is normal and live their lives how they want to!

Well said indeed. You can get the averages of things, but that doesn't cover every aspect of life, or what goes on in our heads. The best thing I can think of is to do what makes me happy. As long as I'm not hurting anyone, I do what I think is right and not worry about being normal. The term is diffidently outdated.

Normal means - the most common thing.
But normal does not mean good or bad. Nothing wrong with the word, as long the everyone understands that normal is about the numbers, not the values.

I don't believe we should use the term normal. Maybe as most but not normal. There are too many people who are different to really say normal and some so called normal people are pretty darn strange if you ask me.You might go with Abby Normal :)

Well, I think if the word is used in reference to describing ones personality or lifestyle, I don't believe in it. It is all an opinion and everyone is entitled to their own. What about ab-normal? Is it 'normal' for my boyfriend to grab me by the neck and throw me on the concrete and not feel the least bit bad about it? Is it 'normal' for teenage girls to have babies? See? It is all opinionable. One of the definitions in the dictionary says : Free from mental illnes; sane

Normal is relative, it is completely dependant on the situation and environment you are in.
I don't like the word much, but it is still used quite a bit in todays world.

i think the term "normal" varies depending on culture, religion, class, age, where you live and your general upbringing.
"normal" is a very hard word to use because everyone has a different meaning and understanding of it.

I wouldn't normally answer a question like yours, but as I'm not normal I just had to.

I always say what you just did and than conclusion... If normal doesn't even exsist why do we use this word so often... maybe because we try so hard to be 'normal' for the others
