The explosion in the first scene of Swordfish! First time I saw it I had to rewind and do it again. Excellent special effects and the lead up too it keeps you thinking. John Travolta and Hugh Jackman rock that movie!

The greatest opening scene in a movie happens when you're sitting there alone in the dark. You're looking at the blank movie screne waiting for the movie to start. A few seconds later you're overcome by the sound of the orchestra and you see on the movie screen what you've been waiting for years to see again: STAR WARS.

No dialog, just music until it ends with a shot in the dark. Watch it sometime . . . it's a beautiful piece of cinematography.

The "Saw 2" scene where the man held captive by Jigsaw is trying to free himself and trying to find the key, which happened to be in his eye, but he was too late. That beginning was good for the storyline and it was gruesome at the same time.
