If you are in Warwaw, does it worth to go to Krakow as well? Or it is more or less the same? Is it far? Can you go by train? How much does it cost, more or less and how long does it take? Thanks!

It is always worth to go to Kraków - it's the old capital of Poland and a very artistic city. Artistic in a sense that there is one of the centres of Polish artistic world. There are plenty of sights to see (the Wawel Castle, Sukiennice, Smok Wawelski = Wawelski Dragon, and more). The atmosphere is amazing. In the autumn it is being filled with university students (Uniwersytet Jagielloński - one of the best in Poland). There are also lots of concerts, clubbing parties, and what not. If you prefer quaieter places go and see Planty - it's a big park in the middle of the city.
Kraków is about 355 km from Warsaw and yes, you can go there by train - check this route planner of PKP - the main train company in Poland: http://www.rozklad.pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en?
I'm not sure how long it takes but my guess would be 5-7 hours. I also don't know the prices, but I'm pretty sure that going by bus (private buses = busy) would be much cheaper and would probably take less time.
While you are in Kraków, I recommend going to Wieliczka, which is very close to Kraków, and is famous of its salt mine, which you can visit (real underground salty rooms, there is even a small church) - see:

I hope you enjoy your stay in Poland.

You should definitely visit Krakow it is worth the journey from Warsaw. Going by train is advisable as it allows you to see the countryside in between. Krakow is very interesting culturally but there are also many restaurants, pubs and clubs if you are less of a culture vulture. Warsaw is allright as a first stop in Poland, but after a day or two get out! Everyone who goes to Poland should visit Krakow. Have a great time whatever you decide.

They are about a 5hr drive apart, or 3.5hr on a train. They both have many interesting places to visit. I think Krakow is less expensive. Visit both if you can.

Look up each city on wikipedia for more info.
