The sensible thing is not to ask here but the likes of

www.brook.org.uk
www.ruthinking.co.uk
www.fpa.org.uk
www.bpas.org

ALSO USE THE BRAINS OF CONDOMS PLUS PILL... OR HOW ABOUT CAP, + PILL + CONDOMS

Ie take more then one method to counter any problems

As opposed to any old person including me...

Basically if it does not work look why...

the pill is realsonably fool prrof, but the patch 9can forget so easy or Depro injection are far better as you have to take the pill at the same time each day without fail.

Even if you slept in after a massive party night wakingup handcuffed to a burger cafe mascot in another city...

Ok exageration... sleeping off a hangover would do...

Now with an injection you can't do that... as it lasts 3 months...

So you can relax...

Well alomst... its a medicine and like all things you have to follow the instructions and find out what can interfear with it...

ie antibiotics as mentioned or drugs inc illegal ones.

Many speaking hear may be pro lifers or relgious freaks who may not know what they are talking about or those who did not follow the instructions...

So instead of asking here go ask a doctor or family planning/planned parenthood clinc and look up the injection which should be much safer

Yes I'm afraid it is possible when in the pill. My friend got pregnant twice and I got caught once. Both of us were on the pill at the time.
Its one of those things that you have to be so careful when taking it. There are some antibiotics that stop it working, also an upset tummy can too and a few other drugs can affect it including St Johns Wort, a herbal tablet some people take for depression.
I hope that this helps you a little bit.
Good luck xx

its something like 99% effective so out of a hundred women on the pill one will fall pregnant. Its also possible for things to effect how well the pill works like taking antibiotics, having a stomach bug and not taking it regularly. The only way to definitely not get pregnant is never have sex!!!

Yes. It's pretty much possible to get pregnant any time you have sex. Even with condoms, the pill, the shot, the patch, or whatever. And beware: If you take antibiotics while you're on the pill, you can easily get preggo. Those medicines counteract the effects of the pill.

Yes it is. It is said that 1 in 6 will fall pregnant whilst on the pill, so my response would be whats the point of the PILL.

Yes.
Combined-Hormone Pill
How it works: A pill containing both estrogen and progestin is taken daily. Suppresses ovulation; also thickens the cervical mucus, thereby blocking sperm and preventing fertilization in case ovulation does occur. Effectiveness: 95% to 99%.
Pros: High effectiveness rate; convenience; spontaneity.
Cons: Must not be used if you are over the age of 35 and smoke, as these factors can significantly increase your risk of heart attack, blood clots and stroke. Also, estrogen can reduce milk supply, so if you’re breastfeeding, your clinician will need to determine whether the combined-hormone pill is an option for you.

Yes it is possible. You can never be too careful. I am currently pregnant and I had been taking the pill before falling pregnant unexpectedly. Always be careful and if you dont want to fall pregnant, use condoms too! (they also protect against STDs!)

Yes, especially if you miss one day or even take the medication at a different time of day.

Also, the pill does not protect against STDs, including HIV.

If you take the pill as directed, same time EVERY day, it is highly unlikely, but it can happen.

yes it is very possible. In my experience though I was on the pill I throw up and had diarrhoea and hence the pill didn't do its thing cause it was not there basically but I did not really think of it at the time.
