I came of Depo-vera (Pill Injection) at the end of June this year...i had been on it for 6 years.

Does anyone know how long it takes for this stuff to come out of my system and for my periods to come back.

Me and my husband are thinking of starting a family but we dont want to do it to soon as i have heard that if you do you could miscarry.

Any ideas?

it should clear your system within 7 days ,but you should wait at least 30 days for your system to normalize . periods may not begin to flow for 1 month to 6 months.continue regular checkups with your doctor and eat alot of mangos and red cherries.

May be it's best to discuss this with your GP if there is a chance of miscarrying involved

it depends on you personally, I don't think there is a set time for you to be 'back to normal'
all the best for starting a family.
