I find it awfully convenient that he was arrested on un-related sex charges in bangcock and now has confessed to this. I think that he did not want to go to prison in bangcock and this was the first thing that came to his mind, so he could come back to america, as jail here is better then anywhere else.

If he did it, great I'm glad we got the bastard. But if I were the parents he would have to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Yeah....let's not jump to conclusions. It all sounds a little too contrived and 'convenient'. This creep might just be smarter than the authorities. He avoids prison in Thailand; earns all kinds of celebrity status in America; is tried and found 'not guilty' of JonBenet's murder; is freed; writes a book that becomes a blockbuster movie; and he's set for life! -RKO-

Supposedly they have been investigating him for some time. However, I would like to see DNA evidence before I am convinced he did it. Ten years is a long time. It is a cold case. To me that would be like finding Morgan Nick after all these years. The guy definitely is up to something. Convenience to come here, like you said, I guess. And the US is always ready to jump on an idiot like that just to say the case is resolved.

It is funny that the ex-wife says that he could not have possibly done this because he was with her at the time of death.. plus he had some stuff on the Polly Klass case also.. and we know he did not do that murder.. so he could be just a nut case or like you said... wanting to come here to get punishment to avoid punishment there.. because only in America do we treat our criminals like celebrities... sad but true :(

He knew details not released. The police will often hold back on some details in order to verify would-be confessionists.

The police, by the way, are going to owe Mr. Ramsey a huge apology for identifying him and his wife as suspects. It's a shame Jon Benet's mother isn't alive to see her killer caught.

He is lying! His ex wife is now coming forward with the fact she was with him in Alabama the night she was killed! She says he didn't do it!!!! I still think the parents are innocent because of the DNA under her nails and underwear.
