its really is worth paying more with fake tan. i use the st tropez mousse (£30) it lasts about 2 months tho, and i use it 3 time s a wekk!. the night before exfoliate, then moisturise. the next night bath, moisturise then leave your skin to soak it in for half hour. buy the protective gloves too (£2.50) apply the tan. i start from my face downwards. get someone to do your back. less is more. put less on to start off with - you can also for instance add a little more ot your face after. rub well in, in circular motions. (leave extra moisturiser on your knees, elbows etc - your dry areas. this will stop them soaking up so much and looking dirty) go 2 bed wearing baggy clothes, wash off in the morning - woo hoo tan! (in between applications i use johnsons holiday skin) you must exfoliate and moisturise regulary tho, otherwise you'll get patchy bits

The best one I think is Johnsons holiday skin. You have to build your tan up so it takes 2 or 3 days to start to notice a difference so be patient. It's much more natural than the others and you don't get any streaks. Just make sure you apply it everyday. It smells lovely too!

I'v been using fake tan products for the past 10 years and used to love no 7, but thats not so good. Just bought Fake bake air brush and it is so so good and it just sprays on...no messy orangy hands. It says to put on your face with a sponge but I shut my eyes and spray and it seems to work well. Its £25 and lasts for days.
I'm going to go the salon soon and try one of the professional ones out as I think they sound really easy!

You could try to lay out in the sun , that's alot safer than a tanning bed , so I heard , but maybe you could try a Mystic tan , that's where a professional spray's a tanning solution all over your naked body , it cost's about 35 dollar's and i've seen alot of people with the mystic tan , and they looked nice .

Have tried the tanning wipes, and most of the mousse/spray products and they all end up patchy, but Dove self tan seems to be fine, gives even coverage and looks natural.

St Tropez is really good but if u want a really great fake tan at a cheap price then go to Savers, they have Coppertone tan for£1.99 and its really good, used to be £12.99 in boots but they must have bought a load of it.

Garnier Ambre Solaire, the spray one, is great. It says there's no need to rub in, but if you're in the habit of missing patches I'd recommend rubbing it in anyway. I do and it always comes out perfect. Remember to exfoliate before and mosturise the day after for best results.

i use dove moisturiser for darker skin and because i have fair skin it means i dont have to wait 5 days b4 i get tan. it smells nice i leaves your skin really soft. rud it in well and evenly and it wont go streaky at all.
