K in this case is short for KB
From largest to smallest. Mosts are multiples of 1024 of the last.
Kilobytes (KB)
~ Alot of pictures are sized in KB, a avatar for answers user may be 10KB.
Mega bytes (MB) 1024KB = 1 MB
~MP3s are most likely in this range, at about 2 or 3 MB. A CDR holds about 700MB.
Giga Bytes (GB) 1024MB = 1GB
~ DVDs store about 4.3, up to 8 GB.
Terabytes (TB) 1024GB = 1TB
~ Whole ton of GBs for computer nerds who whorde media.
