My friend is already 26, but people assume she's only under 18.?

People's first impression of her is a teenage girl. She look so young, that is why she's troubled sometimes because she wanted to be treated like an adult. She always tell me about it, but I always tell her to enjoy it, but she never listen.

You're friend's problem is that when someone assumes she's a teenager, its simply because of her looks, but she assumes its because of something else. Keep telling her that other people only think she's a teenager because of her youthful looks, nothing more. Also keep telling her that it's a good thing that people say she looks so young. If that doesn't work, then let it go. When she hits fourty, she'll appreciate it.

I'd tell her not to worry, but I don't think she'll listen. I'm 24, and people think I'm 16. It's not common to look that much younger, but not freaky. Rest assured, as she gets older, she will appreciate it. My mother is nearly 50, and looks to be 30. People refuse to believe she's my mother when we're together. She'll come around, just give her time.

Just tell her to think about when shes 50 and everyone thinks shes 26, lol. What can you do? I mean if she doesn't act like a kid, does she dress like one? I think she just needs to get over it, and if people only think shes 18 so be it, she can prove them wrong.
