Let me try to give you a worthwhile answer.

You are suggesting a scenario in which the surface of the Earth becomes uninhabitable for some reason, but that the oceans are still intact. (If you suggest a scenario where the oceans are destroyed as well, then space is your only remaining solution, so I'm trying to set the correct boundaries on the problem as you suggest it).

Okay, in such a scenario, where would people live? I'd say underwater. It requires a lower level of technology to live underwater than to get people into sustainable, self-sufficient offworld colonies. First and foremost, it's easier to build a colony underwater than to build one offworld simply because it is so hard to lift building materials from the Earth's surface (current payload costs are about $10,000 per POUND of cargo).

Underwater also has other advantages:

Drinking water can be made from seawater via desalinization.
Oxygen can be made from seawater via electrolysis.
Oil, natural gas, and methane crystals are available as energy sources, and we can also tap the ocean currents to provide energy.
If you have a liquid ocean you know that you are operating in a temperature climate between the freezing and boiling points of water -- VERY stable by comparison to the temperature extremes in many outer space environments.
Gravity -- standard Earth gravity helps with health.
Radiation shielding -- In space, radiation is a huge problem.

That said, in either case you would be living "indoors" all the time, so the lifestyle in many ways wouldn't be that different between underwater and outer space, though resources may be more difficult in space and you might have to live MUCH more frugally than underwater.

Well, if people were to relocate under the water then we would have to do some serious evolving.

No, actually, we would have to be able to construct structures that could withstand tremendous pressure and still maintain a viable breathing environment. On the plus side there is a vast amount of ocean flora and fauna that we could either adapt to suit our dietary needs or adapt to consuming.

In space, the obstacles would be similar. Heat and maintaining a viable atmosphere would be primary. However, the structures that we build wouldn't have to withstand tremendous pressure, I guess. However, flying debris, dust and rocks would probably increase the need for sturdy materials that could possibly "reseal" themselves after a minor breech.

I don't know. I think I would prefer the weightlessness that space would allow but then we would also have to maintain a vast garden to feed us and keep us in oxygen.

On a final note, though, when the end of the world comes, if it comes, than the seas will probably not be a viable option (hence end of the WORLD) and we will have to flee to space if we wish to survive.

Eventually over the course of the next several billion years the Sun will expand into a red giant star and will end up boiling away all the oceans on Earth. All the air will be stripped from the planet too. Eventually Earth may end up swallowed entirely by the Sun.

So for life to survive, whatever species of life (will there still be humans?) will survive will only do so by travelling in space far away. In the end, living/travelling in space is the only real option.

Actually according to the Hindu religion there is a planet which has dry daytime and flooded nights. But the end of the wold will be after 400 centuries. Its so ahead that I kind of think that maybe life would not be like it is today........maybe a newer species of humans will come up........you know the ones who can replace any of their body organs........or simply regenerate. I mean who knows what will happen but for sure it won't be nice to be here then.As life underwater I think that after finding the first merman just recently we can expect something more dynamic down below..........who knows we might even see a talking mermaid who will tell us about the secrats of the world.....!!! If the world gets over I would like to live in the sun coz its better than the choking gas of Mars or freezing air of Pluto...........or Ceres!!! I would like to simply be exploded than to die bit by bit without any cure. Maybe if I survive it would create a new history!!!!!!

Let me retort: I would not be afraid if I were you. That scenario seems quite far off, and if it were the actual end of the world, you would have no need in making a choice where to live, because you're dead. However, I'd choose outerspace for a start; after all, I'd like to Know where to find another life-sustaining planet and would have to get there somehow. Life is not meant to live in depths of space, so any survivors would have to be technologically advanced enough to locate another terrestrial plane to inhabit.

That was a hard question to read, I haven't seen that many spelling mistakes since I saw a spelling bee in the special Olympics.

But to answer your question... We will be able to live in space stations, and a fear of heights won't matter because you won't be very high off of the level of the space station. Living in the ocean is feasible and I remember hearing about a underwater hotel some where that already exists, see link below.

The actual ending of the world will be when our sun dies. It will expand consuming the earth, thus burning the earth, and no there will be no life left on earth when this occurs. Our oceans will evaporate and like our atmosphere will be blown into space.

"perception" is the incorrect be conscious. inspite of the undeniable fact that it form of feels in all probability. it is all merely chemistry afterall, no longer something about any of that procedure might want to correctly be really referred to as something except "not likely". hence you completely admit that it truly is a possibility. the in uncomplicated words question then is HOW a possibility... And we dunno. it truly is a bloody large universe in spite of everything.

we will die, no civilizaiton lives on forever, no matter how advanced, nature is a force not to be reckoned with.

we cannot defy nature, if nature want us extinct, then we can't live...
