Step 1. Find a shot-gun (12 gauge is preferable)
Step 2. Load with BUCKSHOT
Step 3. Shoot the damn thing
Step 4. Watch it rain bird parts for a week

Check the Wikipedia to find out what type of bird it is. If its edible, hunt and cook it. But I would take a picture of it.

If it hasn't flown away already, walk towards it.If it flies away it more than likely isn't injured. If it doesn't fly away,you have a new pet.

Leave it alone it will go away eventually. If it doesn't go away then call the animal control
