I think this would cause a major problem in your marriage. You should tell your ex-wife to go "scratch." She is probably your ex for a good reason. You don't want to have 2 ex wives, right? If your current wife knew that your ex wife wanted to go on a date, I guarantee she will not be friendly with her ever again, and might even want to tear her eyes out. They will not get along and I think if they got together to talk about it, that would be bad.

She sounds a little lonely and I think your wife would appreciate it if you set her up with a nice guy so she will leave you alone...You are divorced for a reason, even if you still talk...
But on the other hand if she is friendly with your wife let her help find her a date...

Ok, I might not be a marriage expert, but I think I know the facts. NO WAY! You are married. Don't cheat on your wife. DO NOT go on a date with your ex-wife. She's just trying to win you back, tell her to her face, NO!

You are not respecting your wife, you even think the date could be fun. Hello? Do you love your wife? You should have no relations with your ex. Ex means behind, and she should not be involved in your life,or your wife's life.
There are lots of things in life that could be fun, but going on a date with an ex is not one of them!!

I'm thinking that this isn't a baited question. If your wife is cool with it then let her talk to her.....But you should stay out of who she gets set up with. Could bite you in the a** later on down the road should something happen or not happen if you know what I mean......

Tell your wife that your ex wants to go on a date with you. An ask her if she's ok with that and if she feels comfortable coming on let her go.

Being that I'm about to be the ex wife, I would really have a hard time letting him pick a date for me. He would pick a bald fat guy for sure, probably a toothless one too! No, the energizer bunny is lookin pretty damn hot to me right now!

Let the wife talk to her...My ex...for some reason confides in me how her dates are going...but we are ex's for a reason...she didn't listen to my suggestions why things aren't working for her then and she still doesn't listen now...so our relationship continues to be frustrating...these conversations should remain between the women.
