Give up the chase and wait to be caught. If it is meant to be it will happen.

Why would you want a husband anyway? You're obviously managing quite well without one!

The only thing that should determine an individual staying single or searching for a significant other is the individual concerned. You should take up the search when you feel it is the right time and not when someone else says so.

The fact that you use the phrase ´husband candidates´ really bothers me.
Are you looking for a significant other person to share your life with or are you looking for a meal ticket, a provider and a father for your son?
Any man who takes on another persons child as past of a relationship is a brave man in my books, but to take the child on when the mother is not really in love with him and is only looking for a ¨husband candidate´´ then I would recommend they stay clear of you.

In fact, perhaps that is what they are all doing, it is one thing to be nominated but sometimes the prize is just not worth having!!

Giving up your studies and giving your little guy less time is no guarantee of changing your luck in finding a man. I wouldnt give up going out occassionally either. Perhaps a different approach?

Go out with friends/parties/get-togethers when YOU feel like it and ask for no more set-ups. As Dr Phil says.....if you never go out and guys have to jump on the bonnet of your car to get your attention...you'll never meet anyone.

Dating is painful because there are too many expectations on blind dates.....so just go to student happy hours, the gym...and go because it lightens your load...not to look for a new husband.

You have control over your life already.....so why be ready to lose that at the first hint of interest? Give up the chase.

finish your studies, your son will start school soon, and you will start to get more free time for yourself, but while you do this keep an eye open he may be right in front of you

never give up the chase---however, you child SHOULD ALWAYS COME FIRST AND FOREMOST IN YOUR LIFE--ALWAYS!!! and your studies is number 2....and dating would have to come after those....first two things i tell someone #1 I DON'T WANNA GET MARRIED, AND #2 MY KID COMES FIRST...if u don't like that -- move on
