Your PC recognises your drive there. This means no problem with your connection. Your Drive's len may be too dirty and need cleaning. Usually this type of cleaning will only be good for a short while. It is best to change your drive if you face no recognition for other of your CDs too. Can get used (2nd Hand drive) to replace if you have budget contraint and if you hardly use your drive. Only about half the original price. If you often need to install softwares or gaming, then suggest you change one.

Try using another disc. If you get a read error 3 out of 10 discs used it means the unit needs replacing. Cleaning, recalibrating, all of these methods won't work for long.
Try using a aluminium surface disc(like original CD's bought from shop),if it can't read aluminium discs it is probably broken.

If it is only that CD, the CD is probably bad. If it does it to all CDs, you may need a new one.

your computer is probably to old or the cd is somekind of cd-r or cd-rw. Mine does that sometimes to when i use a cd-rw. -----------------------try this: right click on the start button, then click explore, then click my computer(which should be on the left), then click which drive you put it in, then it should show you if it's in there. :-)
