I hate to say this but this guy John Mark Karr is lying, and now his ex wife is saying he was in Alabama with her the night she was killed and had nothing to do with it! He's a sicko and I don't believe he is telling the truth!

If he is truly the murderer. The Boulder Police Dept. was so inept that it is possible that the DNA from the crime scene will later come back as inconclusive or not a match and the guy will go free.
All the evidence that I have heard about so far is the DNA. How is this guy connected to the family and how did he get into their house that night?
There are too many loose connections to call this arrest the end of the murder case.

He's not guilty yet, not until either a jury of 12 convicts, or he pleads guilty in an American court.
Also, for the one who said to commend Boulder PD for not giving up - Boulder PD bungled this case from the get go (followed each development, as I was living there when she was murdered) and it's actually due to the Boulder County Sheriff's Department, working in conjunction with the Boulder County DA's Office and the FBI. Boulder PD could mess up a wet dream.

Not so fast. He sounds like a nut case. The strange behavior of her parents is still in question. Karr's wife says he was with here then.
This case is far from solved. Her mom can't rest yet, and in fact is still a suspect in my book. We'll see who's right in next few days.

It is so scary to see such a clean cut looking man, a school teacher none-the-less, that is capable of these autrocities. Makes me afraid to send my kids anywhere!
But, yes, I think the Boulder police should be commended for never giving up on this case!

Don't need trials in your world, do they?
His ex-wife gave him a rock solid alibi.
He didn't do it. Sorry to burst your little bubble.
They have the wrong guy.

i think the whole thing is weird. u know.
but ya, i think it's good for the family.
the whole story is so sad, but the parents are probly so much more relieved to know that the suspect isn't still out there.

... her mother should never rest in peace for what she did to her little girl.
And I am curious to see how this actually pans out. He definately looks creepy enough, but there's more to it. There's gotta be.
