My gf and I have talked about getting engaged and while we are not ready right now, she says she has been looking at rings. Yesterday she showed me this ring and said she really liked it. I just wanted to know what people thought.

WOW that is beautiful!!!!!! But even if people didn't like it get her what she wants not what people think she should have. She is the one that has to wear it not us. GOOD LUCK!!! :)

I hate to burst her bubble, but that's an anniversary ring, not an engagement ring. See the inside? It reads "Past, Present, Future."
If she really loves it, and she doesn't care, it's going to be her ring on her hand. Get it for her, but only if it's within your budget. You shouldn't buy something that you will be paying on for the next 5 years just to give her a piece of jewelry.
I'm not sure what the caret is on that one, but it's a Zales exclusive ring. If she found it at another store, (the link looks like an eBay listing picture) it's probably used. While that's not a bad thing, it might have imperfections from wear. Check the seller to make sure they will accept returns and refund your money if the band is scratched or bent, the stones are chipped, or otherwise damaged. Some sellers don't.

Have you ever heard of the Heart Ring. If you wear it facing out it means your in love, if you turn it around and it faces inwards towards the hand it means your taken.( just a thought) By the way I love the ring! Awesome!

LOL, look at the amount of women that answered. Here's the question can you afford it and is there papers on the diamond? As pretty as it looks the diamond may be of low quality and over priced. There is no way to tell from a picture.

I bought my wife a similar engagement ring...
1/2 ct. three stone w/ platinum band... She loved it.
