right there with you, honey. How can someone say that a woman is "sexy" when her ribs are showing? I personally blame Hollywood. Here's their reasoning on it:cameras are said to add ten pounds, so women on camera have to be smaller to look small, but it's gotten out of hand. It's so sad because I am a size 12, and not much that is "in style" actually looks good on me, but then again, I've never really worried that much about fashion.

Different strokes for different folks. Ever since I can remember, skinny has been what the guys like to LOOK at. Curvy, however, is a body *made for love*. I have never been skinny, except when I used to be a tweaker. I have what is known as an hourglass figure. When I was about a size 12, I used to cause traffic accidents from the guys swivelling their heads to get a second look at my *not skinny* body! Now I'm much larger, but never had any trouble getting propositioned.

Fashion designers seem to like the skinny waifs, although I would think that would be like dressing a broomstick. I think real men prefer women with curves. The curvier women are better built for having children, too.

It tried to come back, but it's not gonna work. Too many brown people with puppies and cabooses shoving the waifs out the way.

I doubt it since obesity and overweightness for women (men too) is a pandemic in America.
I think its a shame too. I don't why women obsess about weight. While fat and obesity is ugly, a little 'puppy fat' is just fine in my book. I don't think men obsess about a woman's weight as much as the women obsess about it themselves. It must be an internal thing, or competitive thing between women, kind of like guys competing over sports, cars and such.
I say that, and I'm a guy who competes against nobody...other than against myself.

I think that thicker women are more attractive as opposed to the size 00 ... I'd rather have a belly buldge rather than a sunken in stomach , with my rib's showing , that's just sick .

let's hope not- that is the worse thing for teenage girls that already *think* they are fat- all it does is causes eating disorders that will end up killing them if they don't get treated. It's not healthy to be that skinny and of course it's not healthy to be overweight either - there just need to be a happy middle that looks good and is healthy

When did that go out of style? Ever since the rich were thin, it has been the style to be as skinny as you can manage.

I hope not. Not only do those chicks look like they have a disease, they're so skinny they need suspenders for their thongs.
And given that they have no boobs whatsoever, Vickie's Secret could become a pretty slow place.
Real women have curves.
