Yes you should be fine.. Alignment being out.. is just going to cause your tires to wear unevenly & if it is out real bad.. It can cause your car to want to pull to one side or the other....
Strutts.. are part of your suspension.. They help you have a "smoother ride" If you get on a bumpy road it makes it not feel quite as bumpy......
So as long as you don't have broken strutt mounts or hear any bad sounds while turning & driving, & nothing vibrates or shimmys in your steering wheel going down the road.
Then you should be just fine...
I feel your pain though...cuz my 20 year old Camaro needs coil springs & strutts in all 4 corners... SIGH..
The only spot that is real bad is the rear pass side. I got a worn out & very bad coil spring so my car no longer is sitting quite level... LOL!!!
But I drive my car everyday... Hey gotta save the $$ go get it done.. It is going to cost me 300.oo to 400,oo do all 4 corners!
God BLess you & sorry to hear about your loss...
Hope this helped ya

If your struts are bad, this shouldn't stop you from driving to the funeral. You should get the work done eventually but it is not the sort of thing that will snap apart and strand your car.

Be sure you have the alignment done after you have the struts replaced, as replacing the struts will change the car's front-end alignment.

If the road is smooth it should be okay. If you have a lot of bumps the front end will bounce a lot. If your alignment is real bad I would get that fixed first. Then you may as well get the struts put on and you will be in good shape. Auto places who make a living doing this won't take much time to repair it. I think the Big Wal-Marts even do it. They may be the cheapest.

With your car out of alignment you're going to really go thru tires, take a couple spare tires

you will have problems, you have them already. Can you safely drive the car this distance, yes, but I suggest that you do not speed as the car will vibrate. Take the locals!
