If they were communicating during the pregnancy, and he was (and still is) supportive, then they both should continue talking.
He may actually feel depressed from the loss as well...

If he is trying to be comforting than let him. If he is acting like its no big deal dont talk to him. A miscarriage is devastating especially to the woman and it takes time to mentally and physically heal from it. You need only positivity and comfort right now. So, him playing a role is up to you and him and how you feel and how he is reacting.

If knows about the pregancy, then he deserves to know about the miscarriage.
If you kept the pregancy from him, then why would you burden him with the miscarriage?

if hes a nice guy he should support her emotionally its hard on anyone to lose a baby, he loved her once (enough to make the baby) so supporting her now is the right thing to do
