Keep your parts out(batteries and sim card).I washed my phone for a good minute in the washing machine. It was completely wet.I took it apart and blow dried it with a blow dryer.(ON COOL AIR)only.I waited for about 2 days for it to dry.I put it back together and it worked. That should do the trick.

Well, if it came back on then that's a start. I would take the battery and sim card out and let it sit to dry. Then I would take it to your nearest dealer and see what they have to say about it. There should be a dot on the inside of your phone that was originally white, if it has color now, then your phone has water damage. You might just be better off getting a new cell.

I ahve a friend who works for verizon she is a phone installer. She actually dropped her cell phone in water while in a installation hole.
She said she immediately took out the battery.
She said dont turn the phone on from several days.
She took the battery out and used a blow dryer on low.
Very low setting.
Then let the phone sit for a few days with no battery in.
She said it works fine now.
However if you turned it on with water in it:( It may not be so good.
I hope no water actually got deep inside.
Good luck :)

oh shoot, the prompt you tried to reveal it on the finished circuit receives fried from a short. If thats what you probably did then theres no wish yet in case you nevertheless wanna attempt, take the battery off right away, drain all water and commence drying it utilising hair dryer or in the front of the aircon, dont use it for some days a minimum of, shop drying it. open the canopy in case you could so it will dry speedier. this may artwork on some circumstances (in spite of the reality that the phone wont artwork completely because it used to) in case you didnt attempt to reveal it on, so attempt yet dont wish too a lot, once you've coverage on it i propose you employ it instead of attempting to revive this your self goodluck

Do not turn it on. Wait about a week.... Try to "open" it up as much as you can... Using a hairdryer might help.
My Motorola MPX200 survived a 2 minute submergence in muddy water. I still use it now but it has some permenant errors with the messaging and network.

Take the battery and card out ....Place on a sunny windowsill all day....In addition to that place a hair dryer on low (heat) and let it blow for at least an hour on it. Try it the next day.

Let the phone fully dry. It may work, depending how much water it took in and what parts got soaked.
