Weird. I just had a flashback to an episode of "Pinky and the Brain", in which Brain's latest plan to take over the world was to leave off the last period in the "lather. rinse. repeat." instructions on shampoo bottles, so people would think they'd have to do it continuously, forever and ever :)

I did until I read an article about it in a magazine stating that it was unnecessary for most people. So I started to just lather and rinse. I found that just doing it once was enough to get my hair sparkling clean. I don't use any hair gells or hair spray on my hair though so it doesn't take much shampoo to get it clean. I just comb it and go.

Read the bottle again, it says lather, rinse, and repeat as necessary.

Nope. I'm a lather and rinse once kind of person

Yeah I do but I only repeat once - unlike my lil sister. She repeats too many times, which is why the rugs are always soaking wet after she gets out of the shower lol. I guess she takes the directions literally.

Yes. The second lather is much richer, and cleans better.

Of course!
If you only wash once, you only get the surface dirt. When you wash the second time, you get the oily stuff underneath that makes your hair look greasy.

Nope - bald. But I wouldn't do it anyway. Hey, it's a cleaver ploy though; convincing your customers to use your product twice as fast.

If my hair is really super dirty because I haven't washed it in a few days (which rarely happens because that is soooooo gross. and I wash it at least every other day, usually everyday)
