Virtual Villager population?

Question

does anybody know why the screenshots of this game shows hundreds of ppl on the Virtual villager website however it is telling me that I maxed out at 90???

I got a pop up telling me my village had reached the maximum capacity - at a population of 90. Is this right? In some of the advertised screen shots for this game I've seen villages with 700+ people. Am I missing a key activity or a puzzle to raise my population?

Yes, the population limit is 90 villagers. The screen shots that you saw were from a development version of the game that used those fields to display other information. The population was not actually that high.

oops ...it's my fault. I used special codes to generate more people to create the screenshots and then I didn't actually see that number....

because as usual things always look better in ads than they really are?

disappointed in the no end ending myself perhaps the sequel is already being made?

i do not "know" these are my opinions but i do know that 90 is max and i've had 91 so obviously i managed to have twins at 89 i guess and it's still rank 999 with 91 so somebody got past that maximum

there may be another part of the island (further along) where you can increase your population........who knows lol
