I think people who are extroverted are the ones who have serious problems. Shy people are generally more honest, whereas the extroverts create a facade of character to keep you from the truth of who they are. I find extroverts very annoying. They actually make me more extroverted because I want to tear apart their heavily constructed characters.
Introverts on the other hand can give too little. Ideally you want someone who is honest, but not pretentious.

Most of the time yes. I am not shy but shyness of the opposite sex does have some kind of a special attraction in all aspects, i.e. physically, sexually sometimes spiritually.

Guys like shy girls because they feel that they have more power in a relationship then. I prefer girls who aren't shy, but I don't hold shyness against a girl, no more than say, the length of her hair.

I find it more appealing than someone who talks incessantly for attention or just to hear themselves make noise. However, excessive shyness to the point of reclusiveness is not a good quality. My personality is somewhat reserved and quiet, but I have good friends who got to know me by sticking around long enough. :)

to a point. when the boy is too shy and can't ask u out when its so obvious that u and him like each other... that's infuriating. until shyness gets in the way of other things, its cute.

I think it is attractive, but to a certain extent. If you are not going to take initiative and try to conversate with me, then i wouldnt the guy attractive.

Shy woman are approached, by men and they are often the wrong type they see you as something to use because you are going to be co-dependent to this man. Shy men are not approached much and if they are it not usually for dating, but rather mating.

i think personality is the key and if you're too shy your personality doesnt really shine through. i used to be shy and i get alot more attention now that i am not. but dont be obnoxious, thats a turn off, (at least for me)!

Yes because it's mysterious. They don't say very much and no one knows a lot about them. Shy ppl flirt more with their eyes instead, and that is sexy
