How are people doing this. I am getting calls from a cell phone that says "number withheld"
I have pay as you go cingular these calls are costing me $$
Does anyone know how they are getting this ?
I know for a fact it is not a buisness the person who called me has a sprint phone. She is doing it as harrassment.

depending on the type of fone u have u can dial *#30# and it should say number of caller is shown.put this into ur fone every time u switch it on or after u recharge it

Program your cell phone to not accept any calls where the caller's phone number is blocked. Just like you do at home!

They put *67 and then they dial your number. That's how they get they number to come up private or withheld

contact your phone provider and ask them to put anonimous call rejection on your phone, or if they can't do that get them to trace the number which they can even if it is with held and then report them to the police for arrassment.

easy, 141 before the number you are calling
I don't answer callers who with hold their number.

go to settings and you can set hide number.........so that when u call someone they cant see u r number.
