he also smokes weed and drinks on a regular basis ! do you think it could be because of this ?

I think that the habits you describe play a major part in it, yes, and I know, I have been there, and worse! ( not any more though!! )
But he needs to ask himself why is he being so destructive?? Is he very insecure, does he have a psychological problem, maybe relating to a past event?? when you are in that sort of stupor of drugs and drink, the one thing you forget to do is have fun, and when you forget how to have fun everything goes downhill I assure you!! Sex should be fun, rewarding, adventurous etc etc. It sounds to me as though you are 'swimming upstream' with this guy, you may even start to doubt yourself, and your confidence will suffer and he will drag you down with him, I know it's difficult but you need to say to him either get help or you are leaving, and the most important thing is that you have to mean it!!

Advise 101. Could be numerous possibilities why your not having sex but once a week. Lack of interest..spice things up alittle? Not in shape for it…lol, start running? Or his sex drive isn’t like most guys…no cure to that…except to try and make him have sex. Don’t say “hey, u me in bed, now.” Instead get alittle freaky or do something so sexy he can’t resist it. Showing up at the door naked with a pair of handcuffs in your hands and grinning at him. Also try and arouse him in public…then he can’t wait to get home and tear off the clothes with you. Whatever the reason, you’ll find it, it just takes some searching. :D ~JUStin

No. Smoking weed could inhibit his sexual feelings but drinking should act lioke an aphrodisiac. He's weird. Drop him. He's not a real man.

Let me guess he gets high, eats, and then passes out........Tell him that you love him but you no longer want to sit home everynight while he gets high........Start going on movie dates with your girlfriends or just go to a girlfriends house and hang out.....If he loves you then he will relize that his lifestyle (along with no sex) is driving the two of you apart and he will also see that he is no longer the center of your universe......good luck

Smoking and drinking can inhibit sexual responses. Watch for the signs when he is going beyond your reach. Make your play before he gets that far.

yes sure, he is being affected by the weeds and drugs. they dull the senses and decrease the libido and make him enjoy them more than sex. he doesn't feel sex is good. being high is good enough for him

These habits can reduce the sex drive. If you are not married to him why are you around a loser with those habits? Don't say you love him.
