You have got to be kidding! In the "city that never sleeps"?
Here's a small list:
Bronx Zoo
Statue of Liberty
Ellis Island
Theatre
Shopping
Museums
Concerts
Walk in the parks
Buy a hot dog from a street vendor
Visit Chinatown or Little Italty or Greenwich Village
Ride the subway
Check out the people in Manhatten
Movies
Art Galleries
Circle Line Tour
Battery Park
Carriage ride
I could go on and on. . . take your choice
If you can't figure out anything to do, buy a New Yorker magazine and get ideas there.

hey I'm from NYC just grab couple of friends go to lower Manhattan you'll know wat to do. trust me historic buildings, malls all over cool shops. people dancing, events. its fun. parks, go to 42nd street, 34th street 5th avenue and 7th avenue. all you want its there. also go on a tour bus. and grab a tourist map. OH and please don't take subway at 9am or 5pm= rush hour you'll see. people will really hump you because of the train being so packed. you wont be able to move at all. once i was holding to a pole about 50 people came in the train after they sat and grab any poles in the train there were people that didn't grab to anything so they just will lean on you like nothing wrong and you known them all you re life.
