Every time i click on a link in my browser, that opens in a new window.... (such as an ad for example...or if im answering a question on this, and i search the answer, so that the yahoo search comes up in a new window)... the window does not load and just stays blank.
If the window has the standard buttons (back, forward, stop, refresh, home) i can press stop and refresh and the page will then load. But some windows do not have any buttons on the top, not even an address bar, so i cant get them to load. HELP! PLEASE!

Inside a good webpage, go up to to top of the screen wher it says... File, Edit, View....click on Tools and then Internet Options.
Go to the last tab called Advanced, at the bottom of the window, there should be a Restore Defaults button. Click that, and select OK in the Internet options. You'll have to close the browser and reopen it. Hopefully this works. If not, get an antivirus/ spyware removal program. good luck!

lol spy ware isn't the problem nor the answer to everything. To answer you question is simple. It's nothing to worry about it, it is the ad/pop up server that is the problem and the best advice i can give you is don't click them as they can be potentially very hazardous for your PC. If you really want to see where these ads load to and they time out then press F5 as this button will refresh the page. happy surfing

You want to place your cursor in the address bar section where it SHOULD be appearing, then right click and all the menus/toolbars available to you should appear and all you have to do is click on them to show. In order to get the Back and Refresh buttons you want to select "Standard Buttons". Hope this helps!!

Sounds like you have a spyware/adware program trying to open advertisements or steal data from your PC.
Run both Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and Skybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/) to remove any spyware. Run both as one may caught something the other missing. Then go to microsoft.com and download Defender to protect against future infections.
