Do other things to keep your mind off it.

I have a mental check list that I use when I find myself worrying. If I can't fix it or change it or it isn't my place to do so, then I let it go. I occupy myself with other things and most of the time the problems resolve themselves or the person who is really responsible for the issue handles it. Life is too short to waste time worrying about the things you can do nothing about.

What you need is experience in life
Go to a foreign country and help out in hospitals by doing voluntary work. When you see the effects of war, the dead and the wounded, I bet you wouldn't wonder about anything anymore but just being happy with the fact that you are able to live and breathe. I hear there is room for volunteers in Lebanon at the moment

Believe that they are stupid and that there is nothing to worry about. Most of it is out of our control, maybe that's the problem you want to control it and can't so you have something to do now. Or maybe it's procrastination over the big stuff.

Find something that is more important to YOU than the stupid stuff, and any time you find yourself wasting mental energy on stupid stuff, focus it on the important thing instead. Doesn't matter what that important thing is, could be comic books, but find it.

Keep yourself busy... If you're always doing something you won't have time to sweat the small stuff. Volunteer at you local hospital. Start a blood drive, visit the elderly, stuff like that.

And remember you'll be okay.

Well, i don't know if you believe in God or not. But it doesn't relate to my point, and my point is there are many good sayings in the Bible, in the New Testament, in the book of Matthew somewhere which helps you to deal with worrying and how not to worry. And also in many other sections of the Bible !

Ask yourself: If I worry about this now, will it change the future?

All you can change about life is what *you* do. So if you can do something to prevent what you're worrying about from happening, do it.

Worrying about something that *may* happen won't keep it from happening. It will just make you miserable.

Allow Jesus to take over, He would only let the things come your way that is for your good or for others good. Then you don't have to be afraid because Jesus is handling everything and takes the blows from the devil first. I worry myself sick too, and this is what helped me.
