I am interested in researching my salary compared to similar ones in the industry. I want to ask for a raise, but I want to be prepared with proof and factual research that I should be making more. I work in the corporate office of a management company. We own 6+ distributing companies in the US and more than 300 employees. Are than any useful websites or books that could help?

Check out Wetfeet.com they have a salary survey that you can do to find out what you should be paid. They also have other information to give you a better picture of the job market.
