Sometimes, and it usually depends on your reason for moving (your spouse was transferred, your domestic partner was transferred and you have minor children together, you have to move out of the area because of domestic violence, your spouse requires long-term medical care in another part of the country that is not available in your area, etc)
You have to meet certain criteria, such as having asked your employer for a transfer if they have offices in your new location, be beyond a certain commuting time and other various things, but most states do allow for this.

i want 2 say No 2 that question. The only way that u can collect unemployment is if they let u go 4 whatever reason..such as layoff, r firing. I know this bcause i know a good bit of people who has been thru the process of collecting unemployment & they have learned the rules. I suggest finding a job b4 u move..less stress.

Yes you can. Are you moving out of state? Once you get settled, open your claim with unemployment and NEVER tell them you are not looking for work. Give them a good reason why you relocated and show them you are willing and able to work.

It depends on the state - so check yours out.
Overall, though, if you are moving for family, etc. reasons you will generally qualify.
