i am 12 and my parents just got a divorce and it's really hard for me, my dad's totally changed i mean in a good way i gues but i need advice on divorces

Well first know it isn't your fault! Sometimes a marriage doesn't work. Whether they just can't get a long anymore, or they just fall out of love.
You will learn in time that it's better to see both of them happy apart... then being miserable together.
They are probably both torn up by doing this to you, but you need to tell them both how you feel and don't be afraid to do it.
They are still your parents, and they always will be... together or not.

Divorce is hardest on the kids. Just remember that both your parents love you the same, just because they couldn't live together doesn't change that. I hope they remain friendly for you. Sometimes when parents divorce, you will find you get to spend more time with a parent then you did when they were married. I'm glad your dad has changed in a good way. You still have 2 parents that love you, you just have a different way of life. Good luck to you!

my parents divorced when i was 19 and it was really hard also. My parents are very different now. My dad has remarried and is doing so many things that he would never do with my mum so thats hard to understand....give it time and it will sort itself out. Main thing is to not be in the middle of it, and feel open to talk to friends and family when u need to as its a stressful and upsetting time.
