We want a man who is Strong & tough to protect us, & make us feel like a woman. But when they get violent(depending on the cause - getting angry for a good reason & trying to stop the wrong is not bad) like they can't control there temper, or like to pick fights, or are being that way for no legitamate reason - then we have reason to be cautious. We don't want want to get hurt. And if something sets them off, why would they not take it out on us? Or any body else?

There is a huge difference between tough/strong and violent.
I know a lot of men in the military who are tough, strong, brave and also respectful and gentle with their loved ones. A real man knows when to be tough and when to be gentle.
A real man never gets violent, especially with his loved ones.
Of course on the battlefield it is a different situation, but soldiers know how to separate what is appropriate on the battlefield with what is appropriate off the battlefield.
And soldiers are not Thugs. Thugs are the ones who are rude and violent and need restraining orders.

It's a well-researched phenomenon.
Women want a biological mate who has the best genes for strength/survival/breeding. That is, the alpha male.
But what is the evidence a man is alpha?
Aggressive, strong, smart, quick-witted, has lots of stuff, has power (power and wealth are considered aphrodisiacs - they are strong symbols of alpha-ism).
So what is violent control freaking piece of garbage to do?
Pretty much nothing - he looks alpha because he is aggressive, apparently strong and quick-witted (attitude based). With a little effort, he can fake it quite well.
This gets him past the female 'alpha' filters - he looks alpha, and so appears tasty. But he is a fraud, and most women won't realize it until he's thrown more than a few punches their way. Sad but true.
A real alpha is aggressive (or at least assertive), strong, quick witted and probably powerful and wealthy (but not always). He is a natural leader, and has no need to abuse women in any situation. He doesn't need to, and would probably not lower himself to that level even if angered.

nicely shall we see: you're staggering, wealthy, tall, effective, and each little thing else those men choose to be: So once you insult them, they sense undesirable. they look at you, and look at themselves and know that they are inferior. they easily need you to consider them. they choose to no longer look like a looser, so they argue or combat so they are able to attempt to snatch carry of that feeling that they may be a guy. attempt to no longer carry it against them too plenty. they are no longer something to you. i'm particular the tantrums are organic desperation. they could be pitied, no longer scolded. you're a super guy you recognize. you have seems, character, and a wild journey of a existence. you have each and every thing different men choose, and are each and every thing different men choose to be. in the event that they have been clever, that they had stick on your lead. regrettably, a lot of them are no longer. Oh yeah, and did I point out <3? you are the terrific. i desire you and the pontential new Mrs. terrific have a exciting holiday! Edit: See? The poster above me tried to call you a woman. he's lashing out at you, attempting to deliver you right down to his point. He is often used with you are the terrific too. <3 Edit: a lot of examples in this website! look at between the insulting questions written via a guy on GWS and notice how a lot of those questions have no respondants different than men accumulated there; each and each including their very own insults! you do no longer locate any questions via women human beings that initiate as an insult, and are filed in basic terms with different women human beings insulting men! Missy A: You stated earlier which you're no longer a woman, and now right here you're claiming which you're one! Is which you interior the image, or no longer?

It's evolutionary. On a subconcious level they want a mate who will produce strong and vigorous offspring. When they realize the danger this puts their own life in they conciously decide to end the relationship.

That is a damn good question!!!
I guess it's that a woman wants a man who'll defend her and provide for her--sort of a spin on the old-fashioned ideas. But a guy who deals with things with violence and isn't in touch with his emotions just might turn on her, too!

Because most women are confused. So are most men. Things were better when women were women, and men were men. Our society (US) is almost androgynous. I don't get it either. I actually wish I lived back in the 50's before women's lib, before women grew testicles and men sprouted ovaries.
Yes, I am a woman, and I said that.
