I have gone after a friend's ex once and although it messed up my relationship with my friend, i didn't for a moment doubt that it was the right thing to do. If you like someone and they like you back, there shouldn't be a force in the world that can keep you apart.

it would depend. First I would think that it would be the proper thing to do to ask your friend how they would feel on this matter. if they still have feelings for them then do not pursue the issue. I f they dont and they are ok with it then i see no problem with this. But you must ask yourself, is this guy/girl more important to you then ur friend?

No. Most likely my friend would have told me all the things she can't stand about him & his strange habits. I probably wouldn't be attracted to him anyhow because of this. It just seems you would be going in at a disadvantage. And I couldn't do that to a friend anyhow.

H to the NO.. why would i want to.. i wouldn't care how attractive he is.. my and my gfs r good friends and i would never want to put some guy ahead of our friendship.. there r boundaries that should never be crossed when it comes to friendship.. i don't like leftovers, and i don't like giving guys the satisfaction of having my friend and me..
