Of course he was. That was his opinion and no matter whether you agree with it or not, he's still entitled to it.
I personally think he has made some constructive comments about Iraq which is more than our current PM who is soooo concerned with not offending anyone. In politics most things are black and white and if you agree with a politician then they are 'right' and if you don't agree with them then they are 'wrong'.
GG's answers to the questions he was presented with at the US federal court were classics and their non request for him to go back only proves that he was right.

Unfortunately I believe the only cause George Galloway believes in is George Galloway. He is to the left what Kilroy-Silk was to the right they think they are born to lead and instead are ridiculed by normal, sane, politically aware people. I'm not saying his opposition to the war was necessarily wrong but would challenge his own personal motives. Not that he's worried he has one hell of a pension to look forward to.

Bush and Blair lied. Hundreds of thousands died.
Impeach them both.
You can love/hate Galloway but he was right on this issue.

without being catty George Galloway is looking after himself and winning votes amongst his local constituency.
I would like to see him slung off his radio show he only gives air time to people who have his views.

He's not my favourite bloke but you've only got to look at what happened at the airports the other day to see the danger we're in because of Blair going ahead with it. Yes, I think he was right to oppose the war.

He was right to oppose it but he did so for the wrong reasons so unfortunately his verbal diarrhea only gave credence to the nonsense the illiterate electorate were spoonfed.

George Galloway has never been right. Even when he appears right, it's for wrongful selfish reasons.
