This money is burning a hole in my pocket and I think I've narrowed it down to two items.

Well I just turned 28 and already have a camcorder but it doesn't really take good still shots and it's not practical to carry around everywhere.

Well a bunch of people at my work who are my age have them and I think it would come in handy when I go shopping with my girlfriend.

A digital camera will give you more practical use in the future. My boyfriend's little brother used his DS all the time...for one month, now he hardly ever touches it. But we use our digital camera all the time!

And you don't have to spend that money just because you have it. It wouldn't burn a hole in your pocket if it was in a bank collecting interest! (and if your young, man will you ever need every penny you can get for school!)

Well, I would say a DS Lite if you like games. I have a digital camera, but I don't use it that much. I think a DS would get more use!

Happy Birthday!

Digital cameras are evolving very quickly, 10mps coming to high streets soon. And mobiles are getting equipped with very good ones at the moment like sonyericssons k800, lg;s 5mp etc. I would suggest getting a DS as it wont change over a long period. Where as digital cameras get better and better, and when a cheaper and better one comes out then, it might feel different having the one that you might get.
