It's pricey to start out, but it lasts forever.
I love it and it's wonderful.
My only complaint is that it does wear off and it's not waterproof.
Otherwise, it's fantastic and makes my skin look flawless.

Bare Escentuals is the best makeup ever! I started using it about 6 months ago. I have always had bad skin, red spots from recent break outs, etc.... Anyway, ever since I started using it, I have received constant compliments on my complection. It smooths and softens without looking like pancake mix. It's relatively expense, figuring that you have to buy brushes too, but it was worth it for me. It also depends what you want to buy. I bought the bisque to cover up red spot and well rested because I have dark circles under my eyes. I also have the foundation (best magic of all) and the mineral veil. Those 4 are my basics. If you can only get a couple things at first because of the cost, go for the foundation (MANY different shades available) and mineral veil. I bought a blush too once I had my basics. Also try QVC.com. Sometimes they're cheaper than the stores and have great package deals. Hope this helps.

I can tell you it is highly overrated. It is messy, doesn't blend well, and sparkles, it doesn't look bare at all! It is also overpriced! If you want to try mineral makeup I would order a free sample from www.everydayminerals.com, it only costs about $3 for shipping and you get to try 3 different colors of foundation, plus blush and concealer. You may not even like mineral makeup, so I wouldn't waste a bunch of money on Bare Escentuals if you don't!

I wanted to try Bare Escentuals and ordered a big kit off of QVC. I didn't care for it at all. I like my make up to be seen and this was just so light and it didn't last...my eyeshadows creased and did not last throughout the day like the other brands that I use do. It's worth a try though...a lot of women do like it...just not for me! If you go to QVC.com and order from there, they will let you return anything within 30 days for a full refund if you are not satisfied. That way you can try it out and decide for yourself. Good luck!!

I just bought the kit but have yet to use it cause you have to watch the stupid dvd to know how to apply it really good. I heard its really good I spent 75 bucks for the whole kit. All it is is mineral makeup and now loreal and other cosmetic companies are coming up with the same concept for a lot cheaper. So maybe you should try one of those first before you spend that much

I haven't bought it yet, but have been thinking of purchasing it. I would suggest watching it on QVC. They are very informative when they have their shows. Just watch your TV listings. And you can always go to the QVC Website for more info. Hope that helps a little
