ABOUT 6-7 DAYS

2006-08-17 03:15:28 · answer #1 · answered by missprissyky 2 · 0 0

The average period can begin as early as age 8 (more commonly between 11 and 14) and, in women without reproductive disorders, will continue over the course of her lifetime until menopause (which occurs between the ages of 40-55).

The average length of a period (actual bleeding time) is between 4-7 days each month, but like anything else, varies from woman to woman based on her own specific situation.

Hope that helps.

Well you can ususally get your period for a whole week...then you stop bleeding. You can always notice when your period is almost over...its lighter than it was in the beginning or the middle. And you also aren't bleeding that much. There is also more to learn with this stuff too...sometimes your period can be longer than a week...sometimes it can last 3-4 days. When it lasts 3-4 days and you have unprotected sex you still have chances of getting pregnant cuz you have a fresh new egg in. You'll learn more later...its kinda hard to explain...you can buy books on this kinda stuff too...

It depends. It can be 4 days it can be 7 days. It just all depends. When I started I only had it for 3 days, those were the good days. Then 4 days then 5 days. Then finally 7 and that made me angry. But now it is normal, just 4 days. I really wish it was back to 3 days.

well your period can last from four to seven days each month and the flow is usually more in the beginning and decreases as the days go on but some women experience this more than once a month some less ! all you can really do is watch what your body does each month you can pretty much count on that staying the same and you can call planned parent hood they will answer your questions they were always helpful to me !

That tends to vary by month and by women but the average is 3-8 days. If your period is too long than be sure to speak to a doctor.

everyone is different, but 3-5 days is about average any longer than a week unless you've just had a baby, and you should consult your Dr. or if its a very heavy flow
