Well if the Dr. told you that I'm pretty sure he/she wouldn't say it just to scare you. I would take it pretty seriously and ask the Dr. if there is anything that you can do to help prevent it. I wish you the best of luck for a safe pregnancy!

The medical term for a low uterus is a retroverted uterus and it happens in 1 out 5 women who are not pregnant. It is a possibility that a spontaneous abortion(miscarriage) could happen in the first trimester of pregnancy the only thing I would recommed is get plenty of bedrest and stay off your feet for awhile until you are in your second trimester that way your baby has a better chance of survival because you aren't far along yet there really isn't anything they can do(the Doctors) but just to basically wait it out.
Once you have reached your second trimester then you doctor would be able to do a pelvic exam and ultrasond to make sure that there isn't any concerns. In some case I have seen where women who have a serious case of retroversion of the uterus the physicians were able to reposition the uterus to a more stable condition but in that particular case it was done because the uterus was causing pressure on the bladder and causing the women to void(urinate) without any contol. A majority of cases where women have a retroverted uterus they go on to full term without any complications. This website is the "go to " resource when you're pregnant or trying to become pregnant

.I hope this info helps

that's strictly once I miscarried. The well being practitioner had me do a series of blood assessments. they might degree the being pregnant hormone point greater appropriately to work out if it replaced into doubling each and every 2 days like it rather is going to at that think approximately a being pregnant. My point decreased -a demonstration of miscarriage. An ultrasound would or will possibly no longer practice some thing at that factor and could no longer be very effective. Bleeding can be a symptom of different issues. sturdy luck.

Ok I have never heard of a low uterus. But anything can happen BUT make sure you see an OB/GYN to have them give you a more accuarate screening. One thing you can still have a baby your just a little more high risk. Usually the first few weeks are best for you to be calm. You made it to 6 weeks with no complications? You should still be able to carry with caution but see an OB doc. ER docs are made for the ER there not experts on certain things.

Trust your doctor - he or she has been to medical school, and probably at least 99% of the people who read your question here have not! Would you take your car to the florist for repairs? Then why come here with medical questions?
Seriously - ask your doctor about this sort of thing. I realize that you want information, and reassurance that all will be well. But keep in mind that you are in charge of your health care - it's your body, it's your baby. Educate yourself, ask your doctor or the nurse about things that bug you. You have hired them to help you - use them for that help! And don't be afraid of asking a question that you might think is silly or embarrassing. They have heard and seen it all.
You can get books and so forth on the topic of childbirth, but your medical professional should always be your final source of medical information. If you don't trust them, switch to one you do trust. But don't depend on someone who has no medical background to answer your questions, or you'll have tulips planted in your carburetor.

Mined you did i did not know i was pregnant till 26 weeks . i carried him towards my back. (some babies do that) I think if you take it easy and dont excert yourself you will be ok. You might have to be on bed rest alot if you want to keep this pregnancy to term .

I would listen to your doctor, However I would not get to scared. Im sure that everything will be just fine. You can always get a second opinion too. Are you seeing a Midwife or a reg doc? If you have not set an apointment up for a Midwife I would suggest that you do that now!

Why would your doctor lie to you ? If you think that you have been given the wrong information then you should consult another doctor.
Or are you just grasping at straws and wanting someone on here to tell you that he is wrong and everything will be alright? Either why I would trust a doctor over some random people on the Internet.
