Annoying isn't it. A few years ago a new word was coined to describe it - "Amblejam".

Because they're rude, that's why. They also like to hold family reunions in dept. store isles.

There was a girl that was faking a New Jersey accent at the mall. She followed my husband and me into every store we visited. Then she came out of nowhere and cut across right in front of us, very slowly. This time she had undone some buttons on her shirt and had her boobs showing. Since she was walking slowly, she was able to hear my husband tell her "You'd f**k up a wet dream".

Ah - this links very nicely to "The Granny Stop"

Its when someone walking in front of you (usually an old lady) Will suddenly stop dead in the middle of the road/pavement, causing you either to quickly swerve or walk into the back of her.

I dont know why people do it - very annoying, but I know I walk fast as I have long legs!

I know mate. They should divide the pavement into 3 lanes like the motorway. I swear I'm going to do someone an injury next time! GRRR

Annoying yes, but the truth is people like to brag how very complex life is (and therefore themselves), yet they can't use the full capacity of their brain and, in this situation, concentrate on two things at the same time.

Or when they're walking in front of you and suddenly stop, or stop and turn around, or start walking backwards or moonwalk into you.... or suddenley start body popping in the doorway of the shop you're about to enter.... or when you're driving and they cross a zebra crossing and decide to do robotics .... or worse electric boogaloo.... maybe it's time I moved to a different town......

Yes, this is very irritating, some people have all the time in the world it seems. The worst of it is when you say Excuse Me they sometimes look at you as if you were the biggest inconvenience.

You missed stopping in the middle of a doorway to have a chat right in front of you.
