Buy cheaper food, stop smoking, walk or take the bus...those are some examples. Why don't you have a job? Oh well, it doesn't matter. You could clip coupons and stop buying extra things.

How to get a job:
Walk to every place of business,
ask for an application,
fill it out,
turn it in.
Examples include but are not limited to;
McDonald's, Taco Bell, the local grocery store, any gas station.
You might want to go to the public library and read the help wanted ads in the newspaper.

Until you find a job,
I recommend cheap meals like tuna casserole,
pbj, mac n cheese.
Try shopping at an Aldi.

As for the smoking,
if you cannot quit
then
roll your own.

Gas problem equals walk or only take trips when absolutely necessary.

Coupons also save money but
only if you were going to buy that product in the first place.

I shop at Aldi and use coupons from the grocery store. Buy what's on sale and eat that.

Have a garage/thrift sale.

Good luck my friend.

Whatever you do, do not try sitting on street corners with a sign and a cup.

Get food from those discount grocery stores or buy in bulk if you use a lot of something, buy generic, and only buy what you need.

Where are you going if you don't have a job? Stop going places you don't have to go or walk, take public transportation, or ride a bike - that should save on gas.

Stop smoking. That should save on cigarettes AND leave more money for food and gas.

Good luck!

Try to give up smoking for one thing. That will save a lot but I know it is a lot harder than it seems to some people.

For food, try a discount grocery or salvage store that sells dented boxes and cans. Another way would be to buy in bulk from somewhere like Sam's Club.

As far as gas, I don't know how for you to save on that. It seems to me that we are all in the same boat on that one.

Don't go anywhere you don't absolutley have to.
Go back to the old 3 squares a day and make them small. Ramen noodles are a god-send
Use this time to give up smoking. When you feel the need to smoke, burn a dollar bill instead. This will be cheaper than smoking

Well, stop smoking, trade in your car for one that gets good gas mileage and buy your food in bulk. When I was in college I had to eat alot of catsup sandwiches. It tastes ok when you are starving. You just got to do what you got to do.
