You really can't put a value on a human life because it is priceless.
A human life is precious unique has more value than any one object.
But then here again in some Countries of the worl a human life is worth a piece of bread.

1.50 per hour at any sweatshop for you to wear your Nike shoes and Gap top.
billions in your case since you're standing behind the bomb dropping machine currently in action in Iraq
a millionth from of the above price tag for the unfortunate standing at the other side of the said machine (must be dark skinned and unable to speak English)
eternity: such is the value of a woman I think of at all time.
next to nothing: it's what my life fetches when she doesn't ring.

Perhaps price, value and/or worth are other dimensions, next to time and space, and thus are diminished or augmented depending on the interference of time and space.

Human life is unique, each person is different, no two are exactly alike. Money cannot buy that life back if it is lost. But money is money. You can steal money, earn money, lose money and then gain it right back. But you cannot do the same with life.

I don't think you can put a monetary value on a life. I mean, what good does money do if the person is dead?
