i hate chelsea. but still terry is a great defender no doubt n also an inspirational captain. but gerrard is better in all ways. a true leader. damn inspirational and he leads from the front. dats it. i hope 10 points are ready

beckham was the best
terry is good in the post of captain as he has the experience
as chelsea has won twice the league and gerrard has experience in only winning champ league and community shield
i think terry is the best

Either would have been great choices, I can't think of another 4.
As for beckscum, he should have been dropped years ago. He wasn't good enough for the team, let alone captain.

i think gerrard should have been much better. n also they should'nt have chucked out beckham from their squad.
speaking of gerrard, i think he is one of the best players in the world in his position and also very experienced. he will make a very good captain.

I think gerrard must be the captain as we can see how well he plays when he is given captainship.we can see his captainship performance in liverpool and at least he is a vice captain.

one reason i would prefer gerrard as captain is bc i like him and i support liverpool. but i mean, i think terry is good for the captaincy too. as long as it is one of them, i'm fine with mcclaren's decision.

i think gerrard would be better. he has shown it in the FA cup final against westham. and beck shouldn't have been dropped out cos over half of the victories of england came from beck.
the world cup shows it. they went through the first round mainly from becks and they beat equador cos of beck
