my last delivery took 45 min in total, do you think this one will go as fast also?

Yes, I think they get faster, because my husband's aunt has three boys, the first took just under an hour, the second took under half an hour, and the third one they had her come in to the hospital before, because they were afraid she was going to have it too soon, and she almost had it in the hall!

My first delivery took 16 hours, my second was an hour and my last took 5 hours. They are totally unpredictable. At least mine were! Goodluck!

Was it very long ago? If more than 5 years then it could take a little bit longer.

Otherwise, it may not go as fast but faster. I think you should aquaint yourself with homebirthing procedures and get an birthing kit to keep in your home.

I have had four children My first was 87 hours second was 10 hours my third was 13 minutes and my last was 9 hours so i would say wait and see you never can tell!

it matters if you are having a natural birth or or surguary birth cause natureal birth some times is slower then surguary. ( congrates by the way! ) how fast it will go depends on how matture your baby is and if the baby is in the right position.
