I was in the same situation with my first child...He doesn't have any rights as of what you should do with the child (adoption or abortion) that's your decision. But when the baby is born and the father decides he wants to be part of the babies life, then yes he does have rights. If that is the case when the baby is born file for child support! Good luck! Maybe you will not make the same mistake twice!

No body has the right to tell you to have an abortion. He cannot tell you to have the baby adopted ( as long as you are a fit mother ), reading between the lines this irresponsible rat doesn't want to have to contribute financially towards the baby. You must do what you think is right for you and the baby. Good luck.

They can't make you do either and in most states they'll have to pay child support even though they don't want the pregnancy. If the woman wants to, she can end the pregnancy without his consent, but needs his consent for adoption. He can still fight for custody even though he pushed for adoption and abortion though so be careful. Make sure you have legal sole custody upon delivery and don't give him visitation until you do so or he has just as many rights to the baby as you do if his name is on the birth certificate.

He can't make you have an abortion any more than he can make you put it up for adoption. So don't worry. You can still nail him with child support when the baby is born...

It is the mothers right to keep the baby. Its your body, and your choice. If you are not married he has no option, if you want to keep the baby you can. I went through the same thing with my daughter. I got pregnant at 15 and her dad was 19. He wanted me to have an abortion and i said no. 3 years later i have a beautiful little girl, and he couldnt imagine his life without her. Give it time, and remember, be strong, its your body.

Not many. Especially if you aren't married.

As an unwed mother, you have complete and total control over what happens with your baby. The father can try and get custody of the baby, should you decide to have it. But I don't think he can legally stop you from having an abortion.

it should be a joint decision, but i believe if its 100% against either parties belief you should not go through with an abortion or adoption...only if u are 100% sure either is right for u..any doubt in ur mind means u dont feel comfortable with it...also its ur body...granted it takes 2 to tango, but an abortion could have a greater effect on u, not only mentally, but physically...do what is best for you and hope he stands by your decision

He can't make you have an abortion or place a child for adoption.

That is all your choice. He hasn't got any rights unless he signs the birth certificate. If you don't let him he will have to take you to court to get rights. He can't force you to give the baby up or get an abortion.

I believe that he should have no rights when it comes to abortion, this is a human life we are talking about and this child has the right to live. Next time he should practice safe sex, if I were you I would not let him near me after even suggesting such a cruel thing.
